Red dragons are evil creatures, interested only in their own well-being, vanity and the extension of their treasure hoards. They were supremely confident of their own abilities and were prone to making snap decisions without any forethought. These dragons delighted in ruin, death and destruction. Ajax is not an exception.

After serving a high-ranking githyanki for a couple of centuries as a mount and companion, the ego and arrogance of this red dragon led him to offend who should not have done so.

Stripped of his treasure and in these strange lands, the mark of Tiamat rests on his left pectoral reminding him that he cannot assume his authentic appearance for now.
