She was born half Drow and half human.  Her parents loved her very much, but their relationship only lasted a few years, as it was unheard then for a Drow and a human to get married and have any kind of relationship. Consequently, they were killed and left Autum Rose(which was her name at the time) alone. Surfacers found her and raised her and was good to her. However, she knew she had to find her people someday.  
She ventured out and came across a Priestess who took her in and trained her.
She was to be the best defender she could be. Her one goal was to keep the enemy occupied so others could come in for the kill.
Now she was ready to face the world still alone but was not afraid.
