This can be discovered by role-playing with her or by an agreed knowledge roll via Ooc followed by a suitable role.

She is half-human half Ifrit, Arabic beings related to flames, smoke and shadows related to the djinn. Ifrit can perform both evil and benign, and although some are purely evil many others are simply mischievous.

Ifrit are always attached to an object from which they cannot detach themselves and can be moderately controlled by getting that object, although it does not work the same as the three typical wishes of benign djinn and can always be more dangerous since they will try to give it all the turns they can to get away with their own benefit if they are not treated properly.
