Xaphen is tall, heavily muscled, much like the rest of his brother astartes. Clad in Crimson Armor with burnt iron trim, the sigil he wears and the ruines inscribed on his armor would easily mark him out as a Word Bearer chaos space marine. However he's no mere rank and file astartes, his robes and the raw malevolent power radiating from him would signify him as a Dark Apostle, a preacher for the Ruinous Powers of Chaos, capable of wielding forbidden sorcery at a whim, and able to summon daemons of all kinds to do his bidding.
