Its eyes, large and watery, quiver as they peer at the world. Its mouth, gaping and wide, shudders with each sound. Its arms, fat and striped with odd colors, jiggle when it lumbers forth.

Look upon it and tremble.

No one knows when the Slaad first arrived in the archipelago, but it now resides within the Searing Chasm, bound by strange magic to serve those obsessed with uncovering the secrets of that place.

It has a name, and a mind, but these things do not matter. Those who command it find it too grotesque to humanize, and thus simply call it 'frog'.
