She not only created a private educational facility for influencing potential future members of the society, but added training facilities for her secret organization of young mutants called the Hellions, thus assuring her position in the Hellfire Club as overseer of future resources. She even trains mutants with special promise personally to keep them as a trump card in case she is challenged. Emma has faced various members of the X-Men and fought them to a stalemate. She has had conflicts with the New Mutants, but still has enough influence over them that they are not sure if she is an enemy. Frost's name is appropriate -- she is cool as ice, completely in control, and extremely self-confident.
