Spirits of nature are often drawn to places of power. Regions of ancient magic that has seeped into the world, becoming palpable to even those with no sensitivity to such natural magics. Rarely, these places are the resting places of dragons long since passed, Ancient grottos of metallic dragons, who have moved to the Dragonsleep, or battlefields of ancient chromatics, wishing to die before their bodies start to finally deteriorate from age. This, is where Thilivern's story begins. A Dryad, who came to be in one such place of power, a grotto of a dragon long since passed into the sands of time, their story forgotten by all but the most venerable. A being of nature herself, the Dryad soaked in the latent power that seeped from the Dragon and its hoard, long fused into rock and ore with its owner's remains. This power suffused the Dryad, who became more than what she might once have been.

A tall, sleek beauty, sylvan, if only just, in form, with pale, soft white skin, with scrawling floral patterns decorating her torso. Greenery, not hair, cascades from her form at her head and ample hips, while large leaves hang from her shoulders and navel. A sharp, elegant face, with brilliantly hued, glowing blue eyes give her already otherworldly appearance something more, unnatural to her fey origins. Crowning her head, a pair of large, sweeping branches curl back from her head like horns.

By all appearances, she is a curious being. Quiet, if somewhat distant, she seems at odds with herself, seeming to grow agitated with larger crowds. Though not particularly given to violence, rumors abound about the 'Queen of Briars' unleashing the wrath of nature upon those that threaten her.
