It's a wyvern!

This scaly specimen is of a deep purple colour, further darkened by a pattern of black stripes decorating his backside. He's covered from head to toe in distinctly crocodilian scales: pebbled and smooth to the touch.

His eyes are a vibrant emerald with a subtle inner glow, and his sleek snout terminates in a beak-like structure suiting of an aerial predator.

The defining feature of a wyvern, he has wings for arms. Despite the wingbits, he has somewhat workable hands with two free digits and an opposable thumb on each limb.

He stands upright in a distinctly bipedal fashion on digitigrade legs, supported by strong toes in a zygodactyl arrangement.

For all of the wicked and predatory features, he seems friendly. He probably won't bite!
