Jolene has had a rough life. She never knew her father, he was some Sinfarian brigand that marauded, raped and rieved his way up and down the coastal towns. During one such incident, he raped and brutalized Jolene's mother, who never fully recovered from the assault and even named her daughter "Jolene" because that was the tattoo emblazoned on his chest, as she stared at it during the entire assault. 9 months later, she was borne, already in jeopardy from her mother's poor health and diet of mainly alcohol and narcotics of one type or another.  She died from violence before Jolene's 1st birthday and was found weakly crying next to the cold corpse of dear old mom.  The infant ended up in the substandard care of a sinfarian orphanage, and grew up all too quickly, dirty cold and hungry pretty much all the time. by the time she had reached her early teen years, Jolene was an addict, petty criminal and occasional streetwalker in between those sessions of barely numbing the never-ending pain and suffering of her life.
