You encounter what appears to be an upstanding member of the ratfolk race, that is, if upstanding means completely degenerate. Each of his unintelligent, beady eyes is locked to a different direction, giving off a dead, soulless stare - the kind that cant be reasoned with. His elongated rat-snout often slacks open just a little, with it, he greedily huffs and puffs fresh halitosis with every scamperish step he takes.
His fur varies between matted and bristled and often than not, he is dressed like an urchin. The only noteworthy item he carries is a many-pouched sash, hugging his waist.
Whenever he is not mouth-breathing, his nose twitches in search of his next appetite.
