Raekia: Silver Cyclone Backstory
Raekia, a silver Neko with striking blue eyes, a fluffy tail and ears that twitch with alertness. She possesses a natural grace and agility, honed by both her innate Neko physique and rigorous training. Her personality is a blend of playful curiosity and steely determination, a reflection of her upbringing and the challenges she has faced. She often masks vulnerability with a sharp wit and a mischievous glint in her blue eyes. Raekia is driven by a deep-seated desire to protect those she loves and to forge her own path, independent of the expectations placed upon her as the daughter of Rael and Inkylia. She dreams of using her unique skills to help others, perhaps by providing protection or teaching self-defense. Her immediate goal is to master her craft, refine her fighting style, and prove to herself and her parents that she is capable of standing on her own two feet. Raekia enjoyed a relatively sheltered upbringing in the home shared with her mothers and Rael's other pets. Her mothers, Rael, a weapon-master of renowned strength and honor, and Inkylia, an agile shield known for her incredible purple-coloring, provided a loving and stimulating environment. She spent her days exploring the village of Lomidar, practicing her balance on the ancient trees, and listening to Rael's captivating stories. On her twelfth birthday, Inkylia presented Raekia with a pair of intricately crafted, silver-inlaid wheels. These were no mere toys; they were a testament to Inkylia's skill and a tool to unlock Raekia's potential. The wheels were perfectly balanced and responsive, but mastering them required immense focus and dedication. When Raekia was fifteen, a group of bandits known for their aggressive tactics and dark magic, came to the village in the hopes of raiding it. While the village defenses held, the attack was a stark reminder of the dangers lurking beyond their peaceful sanctuary. Raekia witnessed firsthand the brutality of conflict and the vulnerability of her home. Following the raid, Raekia pleaded with Inkylia to teach her how to defend herself and her home. Inkylia, recognizing Raekia's determination, agreed, but insisted on a unique approach. She began to teach Raekia a fluid and graceful combat style that incorporated elements of traditional Neko dance. This technique allowed Raekia to utilize her agility and the wheels to their full potential, transforming her movements into a mesmerizing and deadly performance. Raekia adores her mother, Rael. She has inherited her sharp mind and curious spirit. She instilled in her a love for others and a strong moral compass. She often seeks her counsel, even from afar. Raekia has a complex but deeply loving relationship with, her mother, Inkylia. She admires her strength, skill, and quiet determination. While Inkylia is fiercely protective, she also recognizes Raekia's need for independence. Their bond is forged through a shared and unspoken understanding of the challenges that lie ahead. She also has many aunts and other guardians thanks to her mother, Rael, being the owner of many pets. She adores them all... however one stands out as her favorite aunt... Morri. Morri is a wolfkin and has helped raise and guard Raekia since birth... perhaps out of Morri's loyalty to Rael or her love for Inkylia, perhaps both. She recognized her potential and encouraged her to embrace her unique talents. Raekia's journey will undoubtedly lead to new relationships with allies, mentors, lovers and possibly even rivals. The nature of these relationships will shape her character and influence her decisions. Raekia's experiences have transformed her from a carefree child into a capable and confident warrior. Raekia's subsequent training forced her to confront the harsh realities of the world and to develop the skills necessary to protect herself and others. She is no longer defined solely by her family or her upbringing. She is actively shaping her own destiny and carving out a place for herself in the world. While fiercely independent as of now, Raekia feels there is something missing in her life and from witnessing the behaviors of her own family and how they love and trust one another, she knows that is something she is interested in. Although for the time being she will concentrate on building strong relationships, as they will be crucial for her survival and success. Raekia's story is one of self-discovery, resilience, and the pursuit of purpose. As she embarks on her journey, she will face challenges that will test her limits and force her to evolve. Whether she becomes a protector, a teacher, or something else entirely, her experiences will shape her into the Neko she is destined to be. LIGHTS: GREEN: almost everything is okay with me.
