Occultist
Description | |
---|---|
Outwardly urbane to a fault, the initial impression of a successful businessman or noble of some distant land comes bolstered by expensive suits of the finest grade, immaculately groomed raven hair and a tasteful beard to match, not to mention the haughty, regal bearing and composed, calculated mannerisms one would expect from the effortlessly oppressive upper crust of society.
A preference for pitch black and sanguine hues lends an atypically dramatic flair to what should by all rights be a humorless and pragmatic individual, and upon closer inspection an eclectic assortment of ornate jewelry seems to indicate a more than passing interest in the occult, whether for show or the genuine article. An unhealthy pale complexion further seems to imply a strict aversion to the outdoors, only further cemented by the fact one could never quite recall chancing upon him in the light of day. Engaging the opaque individual in more than passing conversation reveals a learned mind and an expectation to be heeded, though whereas the typical nobleman has little but empty entitlement to back this expectation up when push comes to shove, this esoteric gentleman, if such a descriptor could indeed be applied, possesses a brazen confidence and a fearlessness in the calloused depths of eyes typically concealed by red-tinted shades, even in the dead of night, which seems to indicate some manner of innate superiority beyond the intangible and impractical. |
