A pretty girl with a pale complexion tending towards blue, she is constantly shaken by strong coughing tremors, lives under the weight of a grief she cannot bear, torn apart by a struggle between two forces vying for her soul, a struggle of which Liza is only vaguely aware.
Her memories stop at the death of her parents, whom she discovered horribly tortured in the bed of the house where she lived, in a small seaside village.  It was then that Liza lost her memory - as she says - and decided to set off on a confused and hasty escape, until she reached Helzbelt, where she met Melissa, Gaylean and Rayna, her first real friends, the first people who tried to help her without being afraid of her.  
Since she was a child, the girl had "gifts", powers, which only when she grew up she discovered were of a priestly nature... even though she had never believed in any god or attended any church.
The strangeness of these powers is a cause of disquiet for the girl, and their strength increases as her bewilderment makes her lose control... It is in these moments that the darker side of the young girl shows itself: aggressive, gloomy, violent to the point of vulgarity, so much so that one might believe in a schizophrenic delirium.
A fascination for the dead and the dark is accompanied by a banal fear of the dark and an innate kindness; this, together with her strange colouring (probably caused by her 'supernatural illness'), make Liza a truly strange young woman, and for this reason she is often shunned and has few friends.
Since she was a child Liza heard "voices" speaking strange languages inside her, voices that have been her only playmates for a long time... two cruel voices, always fighting and tearing her soul apart, but for whom Liza feels pity and affection, but also terror, when they emerge and suddenly speak their dark language through her mouth.
After the cataclysm of Helzbelt, when the dark city sank into the ocean buried under lava and water, Liza managed to reach Sinifer and rejoined Melissa, reaffirming her submission to the proud warrior.
