Long ago, Whisper's peaceful woodland village was raided by orcs that streamed out of the mountains in droves once every couple of generations. Her mother took her to the edge of the village and told her to flee, and she managed to get away mostly due to her ability to hide. She came upon a village nearby and warned them of the tragedy that was surely about to befall their village as well.

Seeking to get as far away as possible, she aquired a map and traveled to various villages and warned them of the orcs that were coming out of the mountains. A long time after, she heard that the various villages of the region banded together and managed to fend off the orcish hordes.

But she herself got a taste of wanderlust, and travels the world to this day to meet different people and see different things.
