History: A Shieldmaiden taught both the sword and the flame while serving in the Academy for the Order of Silverswords.  She was born as a child of incest and long abandoned by her birth parents as an unfortunate after thought of their sinful union.  Her grandfather took on the responsility of raising her and from him she learned the arts of military science and strategy.

By the end of her 18th summer she had returned home from the academy to find her family's farm torched and burned.  Her mother's corpse hung at the villa entrance crucified against timbers stolen from the barn.  Inside the smoldering ruins of the manor she found the body of her grandfather.  Around him laid the mangled, writhing and eviscerated corpses of the dead.
