Description
The heroes rest upon the sighs
Of Thor's trusty handmaidens
Midnight lonely whisper cries...

"We're getting a bit short on heroes..."

Mortals can't see her, those between worlds might wonder at the approach of a tall, blonde vision, clad in radiant armour and bearing a shining sword and shield.
A fitting companion for a mighty warrior
But only for a moment between lives

She barely remembers her life as a Shield Maiden, the sharp sting of the blow that found her a long dead memory, left behind on the field with the rest of her.

She does remember the stern, smiling face of the winged warrior woman who took her to Freya's Hall and then paused at the gates to offer her a place in their ranks if she would ride with them.

Four hundred years she rode the winds, guiding the worthy to Valhalla's Halls and the unworthy either back to a new life on the ground or to the Hels for those who had earned their place there.  Often accompanied by a large raven with bloody head and feathers as if fresh from scavenging some distant battlefield

Then it all stopped, the heroes were too few and far between any longer.
Maybe the Halls were full or perhaps the gods tired of feasting, it didn't matter.

Now, not everyone who falls in battle moves on to enter Valhalla or Freya's Hall, not right away.

She still rides the cold winds to find the honorably fallen and offer those worthy of a place with those who went before them a last earthly reward of the flesh for their sacrifice before seeing them on their way but now not everyone has to take their place once they fall and she offers those who wish to remain behind a taste of what lies beyond when they are at last ready to go and then returns them to their mortal existance......for now...

Lights and stuff:
Real heroes never try to hurt or demean their rescuer and guide.
No bathroom things or treating her with anything other than reverence and thanks

She can't be seen by living mortals, by scrying, being 'undead' or any other means.

She can only appear to the dead (as in killed in game, and only if your description isn't the essence of evil) and send you on your journey or back to the land of the living with a reward for valor.

--send a /tell and if she can get there and I have time to do it then you can ride the Valhalla Express (free raise+reward)

Note: not all routes offer beverage service, layovers may be unavoidable on some legs,
frequent flyer miles not redeemable
