Nothing is known about her past only she was born a halfling in a small villiage in around the sword coast, till one night her village were over run by a army.  Only Sandy, her golden colour cat bix and a few of her friends and some of the village folks left were taken captive.

All were sent to a evil wizard that love to experiment on halflings,  Sandy was holding her cat bix is all she could do nothing but watch as each of her friends were taken.  Only to watch each of them die from what experiment that went wrong till it was her turn last, and soul surviver other then her cat bix.

Once in the cat tried to protect her but was knock down, and lay there on the floor, while sandy was locked to the Table. The experiment he was using and tapping into the sun itself as sandy body was engulf in it feeling her body starting to burn with the evil magic coursing through her vein.  At the last moment her can bix jump in the machine sandy was strapped in to causing a overload and there was a sudden booming noise and then silents.

Sandy woke with everything that was around her destroyed and no sign of life around her gone. Even her cat bix wasn't around she wander aimlessly for days, her body changed that would give off heat and burn some that would try to touch or pick her up.  When she wander into a human villige where she colapsed and everyone scare to to near here the local mage a kind hearted one had her moved.  Even with the help of arcane or divine magic couldn't undo what has happen to her, but as what she was told her cat bix and her were merged in to one being and that was into a Catling.

Sad and mad all at the same time, and lost unsure what to do, the town welcome her after a while, but special armor was made for her to protect her and anyone around her from harm.  Till she moved on from the human town and wander again to find a focus in life and where she'll end up next but now as Sandy was no more she took a name that the young wizard said to her, and so Fusion was her name ever since.
