Although slightly taller than the average human woman, Xaniphe would be dwarfed by many of the demons, half-dragons and other such mysterious folk that inhabit the land she now calls home. Her body toned from years fighting across varied lands for even more varied causes, Xaniphe moves with a grace as flexible as her own dubious sense of morality. Her most striking features are her lively green eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, and her messy dark brown pixie-cut, which often looks like someone's just run their hands through it (and they probably have).

Often clad in well-worn protective gear, at least while exploring the wilderness, Xaniphe's travelling clothing is designed to allow her the balance and ease of movement she needs in combat, or for spontaneous (and clumsy) acrobatics. The numerous pouches and pockets sewn into her outfits hold both hidden weapons and many trinkets from her adventures so far. She's often seen with a sword at her hip and a lute across her back, which she uses to perform with often far more enthusiasm than competence to anyone willing to listen... or who happens to be in earshot and can't get away.

A persistent love bite marks her collarbone, seemingly renewed every time it seems to be starting to fade.

Personality

Raised among rigid traditions (and kicked out twice - for insubordination AND public indecency), she's irreverent by nature, unimpressed by authority or rigid rules, preferring to follow her own flexible moral compass. Despite this rebellious streak, there's an underlying warmth and loyalty to those she cares about, even if she sometimes shows it through teasing banter. She thrives on chaos, but not cruelty - her mischief is rarely malicious. Quick to smile and possessed of an accent that hints at an origin far from these lands, Xaniphe's mischievous spirit and devil-may-care attitude has led her from one misadventure to another, a relentless search for the excitement she's sure her next escapade will bring.

Having travelled to these lands a couple of years ago following rumours of adventure and fortune to be had, Xaniphe found a home here and a measure of stability she'd never before known in life. She met Elexa, and quickly fell in love. While their relationship is polyamorous and open to exploration, Elexa remains her primary source of stability and affection. While she hasn't lost her love for trouble or adventure, the extreme danger-seeking and outright immoral acts (like banditry) that marked her previous life have taken a backseat, as she now channels her energy more into (mostly) playful mischief.

Xaniphe is approaches sex with the same playful, mischievous energy she brings to everything else, eager to explore and try new things.
