//An OOC note: Dawn speaks Drow, Under Common, Goblin, Svirfneblin and Duergar. She does not speak any surface language and I won't be searching for translators to convert as I play. Just assume she will normally speak Drow unless conversing with another race that she knows their language.

D'issan An'ar was born into a once-proud Drow house that had fallen out of Lolth's favor. As a young priestess, she dedicated herself to the worship of the Spider Queen, hoping to bring glory and power back to her family name. However, despite her best efforts, their downfall seemed inevitable.

After a devastating betrayal within the house led to their total ruin, D'issan found herself fleeing for her life through the treacherous underdark. Leaving the dark city of Menzoberranzan behind, she knew she would have to start anew if she hoped to survive and possibly one day rise above her current station. Despite her circumstances, D'issan remained fiercely loyal to Lolth and continued her devotions in secret while biding her time for when an opportunity would arise for vengeance against those who had wronged her.

But as much as she desired revenge against those who destroyed her family's legacy, deep down D'issan knew that what truly mattered was proving herself worthy of Lolth's blessings once more; even if it meant starting from nothing in order to rebuild both herself and any semblance of hope or honor left in House An'ar.
