For the last several months she has been waiting for word on where her daughter is.  The rebellious girl decided to simply run away when her father had selected a husband for her, and now her mother catches wind that someone may have seen her in Sinfar.  If word of such got out, a scandal could shake the kingdom.  Even if her daughter hadn't done anything shameful, just the fact that she could be here was enough.

Isabela made like her daughter and snuck out of the castle, leaving a note for her husband where she was going and that she was going to bring their daughter back.  No doubt he'd be somewhat upset with her once she got back, but that wouldn't matter as long as she found her.
