Back story:

Since childhood, Gwen has been drawn to what others consider taboo. Born into a respected family of spellcasters, her insatiable curiosity and relentless search for knowledge led her to explore ancient tomes and arcane arts that only the most daring, would ever touch. As she grew, her research took her into the deepest shadows without any result, ending in sinfar looking for someone to teach her. These forbidden secrets granted her power that others only dream of, but that power comes with a cost. Gwen is willing to pay it, even if she doesn't yet understand what the darkness will demand in return.
