Siegfried was one of three captains under the command of The Admiral, a powerful psionic with an enormous amount of knowledge, skill, and wealth. The routes he worked on typically had ships traveling around Toril, but with his vast expanse and ownership of a generous number of spell jammers, trade also flowed through to other realms. Siegfried was highly respected, and when age caught up to the charismatic sailor, who had unlimited contacts and access to resources, The Admiral allowed him to continue his work, but in a more remote capacity. He now worked from an office with his team and networks. Siegfried handled finances and imports and remained a valid member of the crew. However, The Admiral knew that with an old dog like Siegfried, who had dedicated his life to sailing, it would be impossible for him to let go of something that had run through his veins for so long. Siegfried also had more than one interest and owned establishments all over the land. However, the ones he worked in and personally supervised were located in Port Iracia, Saban, and Aglon, where some of his comrades and friends also operated.

He was on the far side of middle age, but his charismatic features still managed to mask the passage of time. His hair, once a deep brown...almost black...was now streaked with silver and grey, evidence of the years gone by. He wore a bristly, thick beard, once as dark as his hair, now touched by age in the same way. His blue eyes, sharp and piercing, were framed by faint wrinkles beneath his gaze and a few lines on his forehead, but his face still retained its chiseled structure, with a strong chin, defined jawline, and high, perfectly sculpted cheekbones. His clothing remained simple, a sailor?s attire that contrasted with his more formal roles, even though he expected his workers to dress with refinement and professionalism. However, the piece that set him apart was the thick, dramatic medallion that hung from his neck, clearly worth a small fortune.
