Luthor is a simple man of few words.  He smells faintly of dirt and dust, and his clothing is time worn and made of simple materials that seem to emphasize function over form.  A combination of denim, burlap and leather.  The most ornate piece of decor on his outfit is the feather ruffle that lines his vest, which appears to be made of vulture feathers.

    The multiple patches on his pants, cloak and hat tell an observer that he is the sort that prefers to repair rather than replace and says more about a person than one might initially think.  This is the kind of person who grew up without much, so every little bit counts and nothing can go to waste.  The style of his clothing would reveal him to be from what is apparently the late 1800's on Earth, or a setting so similar that there would be few differences.  He wears a revolve and a lasso on his waist.  

    Those in tune with the weave and the magical aura that courses through reality would recognize that there is something off about this man.  He radiates a specific dark energy that has been borrowed, stolen, or bargained for.  Someone deeply in tune with the weave would sense great power in the form of the chill of the grave and necromantic energy.
