From her childhood habit of bringing food and water to the beasts of Tanaroa, Ologa grew both fascinated and familiar with such creatures and the natural order of which they are part.

Having lived in her father's village for all her life and never knowing her mother, Ologa wishes to to join the Amazon tribe of Rexuria's Demesne, the better to learn why she was given back to her father soon after her birth and take up their ways.

And if all the peoples of the Lost World share a common spirit or a common lineage, then Ologa is determined to find it.
