  One day he got lost in the woods, found a magic portal, stepped into it, and then the next thing he knew he was in Sinfar, just outside the city gates.

 He's a bit of a pervert, and doesn't seem too keen on returning home to the wife.

UPDATE: He has aquired enough gold to buy a proper suit of armor, a battleaxe and a shield, and leads periodic raids against the orcs of Morold Woods.
