<Growing up in the streets of outer Washington DC, Cheyenne (gang tag Shygirl) was no stranger to poverty or the streets. Both parents were lifers of the Rolling 8s gang and Cheyenne was quick to follow in their footsteps, quickly rising in the ranks as an enforcer and runner for the greater organization. That was until a bank raid on a Militech affiliated branch landed her into trouble with the nUSA's court system. Given the choice of a  short life in the crowded death row warrens of nUSA prison or to sign an oath of service in nUSA's army the choice was an easy one. With her size and natural combat abilities Cheyenne rose quickly to the rank of staff sergeant in the nUSA Penal Legionaries. After an incident where she saved the life of an nUSA officer, Gheraldine Abernathy, she found herself quickly in the rising star's good graces and social network. Before long Cheyenne followed Gheraldine into the private sector as her favored solo and bodyguard, with her penal sentence absolved and finding herself in far better circumstances than she was born into as a PMC.
