OOC Player Notes & Expectations
Lythara is a complex, slow-burn character. She is introverted, socially awkward, and emotionally layered, intended for rich character interaction, mentorship dynamics, corruption arcs, or long-term development. That doesnt mean things cant happen fast or suddenly but dont expect her to just roll into a mold. She is magically inclined with a focus on illusion, mind magic, and arcane theory, more scholar than battlefield sorceress (for now). Her arc is completely open: she may grow stronger and confident, or become more submissive, twisted, or dependent, based on organic RP and consequence. Redlights are few and far between. It is not the WHAT happens that will have me enjoy or dislike it but the HOW and WHY. ------------------------------------------------------ Race: Drow (Dark Elf) Age: 116 (Young Adult by Drow standards) Gender: Female Role: Arcane Scholar / Novice Mage Alignment: Morally flexible, emotionally driven (Unaligned) Personality: Meek · Gentle · Brilliant · Insecure · Curious · Repressed Speech: Soft-spoken, formal, careful with words Magic Affinity: Illusion · Enchantment · Mind Magic · Theoretical Arcanum Strengths: Scholarly intellect · Calm demeanor · Hidden magical talent · Creative imagination Flaws: Self-doubt · Overly dependent on sister · Fearful of intimacy · Shame about body and power Appearance: Long robes, concealing yet ill-fitting; large bust and hips that draw unwanted attention; dark skin, silvery-white hair, violet eyes Notable Traits: Hidden arcane potential · Unaware carrier of stolen grimoires · Powerful creative mind beneath quiet demeanor Current Status: Recently arrived in unfamiliar lands · Following traces of her sister Laele · No known faction ties (yet) ---------------------------------------------------- Section I: First Impressions A tall, robed drow girl. Her presence is soft, easily overlooked, not out of stealth but timidity. The long robes she wears are shapeless and concealing, though they do little to hide her naturally wide hips and generous bust features she seems painfully aware of, judging by the way she folds her arms, her posture shrinking subtly inward, as if trying to disappear behind her own silhouette. Her voice, when it comes, is hushed and gentle: crisp Elven laced with a scholarly cadence, each word chosen with care. She seems to observe far more than she speaks. Her violet eyes flick between speakers with a kind of wary fascination; equal parts curiosity and caution. She often glances toward doorways and corners, never sitting with her back exposed if she can help it. There is a scent of old parchment and ink around her, faint traces of magical chalk and warm wax. Her fingers often twitch slightly, as if they want to draw invisible sigils in the air. She carries no weapon, but there is something quietly arcane about her presence, like a pressure beneath calm water. ----------------------------------------------------- Section II: Subtle Cues & Perceptive Deductions She walks with an oddly guarded grace; trained, perhaps, but self-conscious. It's as if she's always apologizing for the space she takes up. Her robes are not elegant, but well-kept and functional, built for someone who spends more time in libraries or labs than social halls. Her expressions are sincere and open, but almost always restrained, as if she has much more to say but fears to say it. Her magical aura is faint, unassuming but intricate. Those with arcane senses might notice layers of theoretical magic woven tightly around her: illusions, sigils, mental wards. Nothing flashy, all refined, potentially hiding its true potential and strength. She flinches slightly at sudden touches or raised voices. Tight spaces and dark corners make her tense. She avoids conflict not out of cowardice, but history. --- Portrait Credit goes to Syzygy --- |
