The man before you is quite odd, Each person perceives him just a bit differently. those with fiendish inclinations often see him with fangs or horns and those with more celestial inclinations view him with a holy radiance. while those inbetween see what appear to be an otherworldy being wearing the guise of a towering human male, with night black wings and raven hair. in truth he is more closely assosiated with the nature of the third and final view.

This man is a Psychopomp... Though many cultures have different names for these beings from the uthgardt legends of valkyrie, or Kara-tur's Shinigami, Even some beings can be called Merenoloth or assosiated with Charon the ferry man of the dead. in all reality each of these beings are Psychopomps... In truth they are all shepards of souls... Grim Reapers by the most common folk tales.

Though quite pleasant to look upon, it is clear his people skills are not the best, Afterall when you spend thousands of years guiding the souls of the dead or reaping the souls of the living it doesn't provide much time for socialization resulting in an ill adjusted individual. That said he's no less pleasant to look upon and may even be considered quite handsome if a bit off putting both in otherworldly countinance and interpersonal skills.  Despite this he isn't actually unpleasant infact he's quite inviting which makes sense for a man who's whole function was to guide the souls of the living to their designated afterlife. He's fairly friendly and welcoming if a bit blunt and straight to the point.

Despite what one might think of a Reaper or Psychopomp he isn't a bag of bones clad in black cloth, though while he is pale skinned he's be no means emaciated, infact he's quite well fleshed out, covered in heavy corded muscle from the neck down. The occasional scar is seen across his form, though he is not so terribly torn apart as to be nearly unrecognizable. His raven black hair is well kempt and seems to change at a whim usually seen fairly medium length and shifts between having facial hair and not as well. With strong masculine features one might objectively believe him a warrior and in all honesty its not to far from the truth.

Most often slung across his hip or back is a strange looking blade, while most would think of a reaper as carrying a great sycthe this one does not. Rather he appears to carry a longsword, That upon inspection seems to have no point. it isn't meant for stabbing, infact its very clear upon examination that this heavy instrument is most akin to a headsmens sword. Designed to deliever a crushing and chopping blow. Combined with the bulky muscle across his form this weapon is no doubt well suited for the task of "Reaping" in his hands.

Those with high lore might have heard stories of beings like this. Wayward Psychopomps who have lived excessively long periods of time and have decided to explore the world beyond their obligation. they still function as reapers and shepards but they interact far more with mortal beings than their younger kin might. Nigh immortal warriors that will decide whether or not it is a beings time to pass on. Though rarely do they ever shirk their responsibilities that does not mean that in their travels there are not those foolish enough to try their hand as besting the Fabled "Grim Reaper" That said most are simply fools and their heads that were soon parted and those who's actions never actually slowed the inexorable grind of deaths hand. That said those with that same lore also know that if they are seeing one pass by like this it isn't their time yet either. Marking a rather exceptionally rare occurance.

This ones voice is a low resonating and Ethereal tone that vibrates up from his chest often heard in his greeting to others when he opts to speak rather than simply wave. though his laugh is surprisingly boisterous or uplifting he seems to find humor in much of life and most startlingly death. However the tone in which he speaks despite his youthful appearance often gives the sensation of an ancient soul in a young mans form. Giving him a near fatherly resonance to conversational topics in addition to its strangely welcoming feel even if he is a bit blunt.

Personality wise he is largely subdued he speaks occasionally and happily socializes with others as he desires, he's even known to crack jokes occasionally ranging from terrible dad jokes and puns to down right dark humor further showcasing his ability to laugh at nearly anything. Despite his occupation and age he's down right friendly and happy to converse with those he lives to shepard and reap even going as far as to make friends among them and promise that he will be the one to see them across when their time finally comes, to ensure them safe passage and to visit them so that they never grow lonely in age. A strangely caring being for one to hold such an unusual Job.

Though when it comes to combat his personality flips, He is quite protective of those that fight with him but is utterly ruthless to any who so much as dare raise a blade against him or them, That headsmans sword seperating such fools heads from their shoulders in short order before he returns to his more friendly and subdued attitude. It appears to be more like a switch that flips in his head where he flits between buisness and pleasure at the drop of a pin.

Among his unusual positions aside from the headsmans blade is a Talisman that he wears around his neck. the Talisman in question is a skull biting down on a scroll. The Symbol of the original god of death Jergal, the lord of the end of all. Marking this man as a devout follower and more than likely subbordinate of this god in some manner or another. Whether it be something grand or small it is clear he serves a god fitting of his station.
