Akemi is fairly short, even for a kitsune, but despite her height, she is built like the statue of some goddess of war.  She also has a more vicious tempermant than most other kitsune, showing a love of more physical pranks, and even outright combat, than is usually considered normal.  Despite all of that, she is warm and caring to those she bonds with, if prone to teasing.
