Ancient beyond measure, Quarraen (kwahr-rayn) is living proof that not every drow meets their maker prematurely. Over the centuries, his hair has thinned and silvered, his grey skin has been stretched tight over sharp bones, and the hollows have deepened around his sunken red eyes. Still, his gaze remains sharp which, combined with his hawkish nose and lanky figure, gives his profile a faintly predatory edge.

Having outlived his rivals and grown tired of upstarts, Quarraen recently abandoned drow society and made his way towards the surface. And while he might be retired, his nature hasn't changed--he's just as cruel, domineering, and xenophobic as before. However, no longer needing to feign deference towards females or perform for his peers, much of his vitriol has melted away.
