Appearance
Sigrid is a woman who looks like she was carved out of a mountain and then decided to walk off it. At six feet tall she is a curiosity among dwarves and a source of mild condescension among amazons, a fact that has done wonders for her aggression and very little for her patience. She is built like a siege engine ? broad shoulders stacked with muscle, arms that could bend iron, thighs that have crushed things she'd rather not specify ? all of it wrapped in viking-style armor that has seen genuine use, the fur trim of her boots and pauldrons thick and slightly singed at the edges. Her long brown hair is usually half-braided, half-escaping, and her face is handsome in a way that the three scars crossing it have only added to rather than taken away. She carries a heavy axe and a battered shield as naturally as other women carry purses, and the considerable bulge straining at the front of her trousers suggests that the axe is not, in fact, her most imposing asset.

Personality
Sigrid was raised in a dwarf clan, which means she was raised on honor, stubbornness, and the unshakeable belief that how you conduct yourself reflects on every ancestor who shares your blood going back seven generations. She takes this seriously in a way that is occasionally exhausting for the people around her and absolutely immovable under pressure ? insult her clan and you will find out very quickly what those arm muscles are for. She has a temper that arrives fast and loud, like a war drum, though it tends to blow over just as quickly once she's had a moment and possibly broken something. Beneath the fury and the armor and the axe she is fiercely loyal, generous with people who've earned it, and quietly, privately proud of where she came from ? both halves of it, even when the two halves don't quite agree on what she ought to be.
