Cypher is a contradiction to behold. Standing at 6'1, muscular and athletic, but adorned with intricate line tattoos of rainbow hues that are pleasing to the eye. The lines shift slowly across his skin, creating altering patterns and swirls. When casting, they shift more rapidly into arcane circles, and glow. He's lightly tanned, suggesting a life spent outdoors and he always smells pleasantly of oud wood and leather.

His auburn hair is like fallen autumn leaves. He keeps it short at the sides with the top being a little longer, and always the kind of messy that suggests it took a lot of effort to look that effortless. A light dusting of freckles adorn the bridge of his nose, his violet eyes sparkle with a persistent cheer and more often than not he has an easy smile on his face.

His attire is often simple; black vest or tunic, sometimes adorned with colour, sometimes not, black pants and boots. He carries a blade at his hip and sometimes a simple staff on his back. Pouches and scrolls dangle from his belt.
