Lexi is a Moon Elf who grew up in the warm, lantern-lit streets of a riverside city where festivals were the calendar and music was the law. She learned early that a good laugh and a louder song could smooth over most slights, and she took to the taverns and open squares like a moth to a bonfire. Known for her quick feet and quicker smile, Lexi became the city's favorite party goer: always first to cheer, first to toast, and almost always the one leading the drunk dancing until the floor swayed. Her charm was equal parts mischief and flirtation; she collected friends the way other elves collected trinkets, never meaning harm, only to be adored.

One summer night changed everything. During a midsummer spectacle, the tavern where she danced was crammed with revelers. Drunk and dizzy with joy, Lexi spun too close to the table of a merchant and his wife; a wayward heel knocked a lantern onto the woman's wrap and the first spark caught fast. Panic spread as the fire, ignited in an inferno, burned the establishment to the ground. This might have been forgiven if it wasn't but a few days earlier, while playing with fireworks, one wayward rocket exploded over a holding pen. Brilliant explosions one moment and a stampede thundered into the streets the next. By noon the next day Lexi walked away with nothing but singed hair and the words exiling her echoing in her ears to find her way in the world at large...
