Name: Poppy Thistlewink Race: Human Age: Early twenties Sex: Female Height: 158cm (5'2") Build: Slender, soft, unathletic Hair: Deep red, worn in twin ponytails tied with cheerful silk ribbons Eyes: Bright green, peering through thick-lensed glasses Vocation: Former archival scribe, current disaster-wizard-in-training A new arrival in Sinfar after a series of increasingly perilous 'unfortunate magical accidents' left Poppy exiled from her former home, put to the road with few possessions but bundles of enthusiasm. Guided to this land by tales of high adventure and strange beings, Poppy is driven by a longing to experience the wonders she has only ever read about - forgotten magics, strange creatures, and the kinds of friendships (and other entanglements) that fill epic ballads. Her eagerness for new experiences vastly outweighs her experience... and perhaps her competence too, her wide-eyed gaze and slightly clumsy steps marking her as a stranger to both the land and the life of adventure she has just embarked upon.   Poppy stands a little shorter than average, with a slender build that speaks to her background pouring through old tomes. While not physically imposing, there is a sharp, curious intelligence behind those inquisitive green eyes that peer through thick-lensed glasses - though without them, she's practically blind. She has deep, vibrant red hair kept in twin ponytails that bounce with her eager movements, often accompanied by the clatter of an overturned object or a soft, flustered apology. Her face, dotted with freckles and often lit by a warm, trusting smile, is usually tilted toward something that has caught her wide-eyed attention - an odd piece of architecture, a strange creature, or a passing adventurer whose likeness she swears she's seen in a tome. Curious and eager for knowledge, Poppy usually speaks in a rapid, cheery tone. Her inquisitive nature, however, sometimes overrides her better judgment and leads her to ask questions far too bold or personal for her own good. OOC notes and ERP lights: I love playing out scenes that have build-up, tension, and character development, whether they lead to a steamy encounter or not. I'm very open to dark themes and experiences for Poppy, but please don't feel that's the only way to interact with her! I'm keen on all sorts of roleplay. The lists below are my OOC preferences for ERP. Poppy, in-character, has her own evolving fantasies and dislikes that won't always match this list - part of the fun is her discovering them!
