Personality: He wears a kind expression on his face despite the rough appearance. There is a glint in his eye of one who is always considering their next move.

Background: Born in a small fishing village, Jeric has always been in his element around the water. His father was a fisherman who would take him out to sea to learn the trade. His mother had passed away shortly after he was born from the stress of childbirth.

One fateful morning, the local magistrate came with a contingent of guards to the village. They were pressing into service every able-bodied man for a petty local conflict. His father was chosen to join them as a sailor for their next engagement.

That was the last morning Jeric would see his father. Another nameless casualty in the power struggles of the mighty.

A month later, news reached the village that the war was over almost as quickly as it had begun. The local ruler bought peace with gold and blood to save face after a decisive defeat by the neighboring realm.

With nothing left of his true home, he left the village that day and has survived on his own by any means necessary - moving from town to town to always outpace the trouble that, in his mind, would inevitably reach them.

Despite the rough living, he fights inside to keep the kindness with which he was raised alive in order to help others who are dealing with their own conflicts. It takes him time to open up due to how many in the world would take advantage of this to their own ends.

His travels have brought him to Sinfar from lands afar where he is hoping he may finally build a new home for himself after years on the move.
