~@~ The tale of this creature is something you may only hear deep in the swamp where the fog is so thick you can't see your hand in front of your face; and the muck has a knee deep hold on you. Sordid whispers weave their way in from out beyond the high meadow grasses, in the shallower waters, and urge you to retreat. The mud has a good hold on you and the hairs on the back of your neck rise with the arrival of a dank rotten scent. Alternatively, in civilization, a different tale may be told.
