Doug has the habits of a warrior, often behaving like he is on guard. It can take some effort for him to relax but when he does he can have a good rowdy fun time. Work hard play hard.

He also has the build of a warrior, standing at a towering height. He is strong and well conditioned. He is not a particularly gruff and dirty sort of soldier, he keeps himself clean and the hair on his face is well trimmed. Discipline on the field seems to carry over into his personal life.

He seems reluctant to speak about the circumstances that brought him here. When pressed, maybe fed some liquor to loosen his tongue, questions still seem unanswered. Doug himself doesn't know everything that happened, his memory seems to have been affected. Was it some sort of curse, or did he just take too rough a blow to the head in one of his battles? Perhaps he'll tell people more about it when he learns more himself. And perhaps some of the people he meets here will be part of answering those questions.
