"He sees the waves begin to bubble
And suddenly grow calm again. Then -- white as first snow in the highlands, Light-footed as nocturnal shade, There comes ashore, and sits in silence Upon the bank, a naked maid. She eyes the man and brushes gently Her hair, and water off her arms. He shakes with fear and looks intently At her, and at her lovely charms. With eager hand she waves and beckons, Nods quickly, smiles as from afar And shoots, within two flashing seconds, Into still water like a star..." "The Water-Nymph" By Alexander Pushkin Name: Vaelasa Age: Looks like a young fair maiden Race: Nymph, nature's embodiment of physical beauty Scent: The scent of a flower meadow Vaelasa is a breathtakingly beautiful young woman. With deep twilight eyes that even a sapphire would envy, hair such a true black that it bore a blue tint to it and skin a wonderful shade of alabaster, she truly embodies what it means that Nymph's beauty is unmatched. Her face is a soft round shape and her nose is extremely round; altogether her features here are cut into soft angles. Her pink lips are around medium size and her eyes are large, almond shaped, and seem to shimmer. The blue is a deep, light, shade that draws people in. She has long, thin, black eye lashes which seem to compliment her eyes. Her eyebrows are barely noticeable. Her speech is as music, you can hear a faint, musical tinkling, a hundred tiny crystal bells, as she speaks. Each word lingers in your ears, as if they were unwilling to relinquish the exquisite sound. Her hair is worn so long it envelop her like a cloak and trailed over the ground behind her. Sometimes she keeps the bulk of her hair from being blown every which way by bundling it together near the small of her back with a flower wreath, but it is still loose around her face, framing it well. She has an ideal and seductive hourglass figure; busty, small waist, and wide hips. She wanders with grace, and save for a light veil of gossamer on her limbs, she's naked as the day. --------------------------------------------------------- This gentle creature inhabit a clear waters of the spring in the Forest of Eternity. Vaelasa can be found dancing in forest clearings or in a fairy ring, combing her hair by a stream, or singing sweetly on full-moon nights. She believes in the sanctity of nature and her environment and will try to keep her glade safe and pure. She will heal wounded animals and mend broken trees and plants. Like most nymphs, she is wild and shy, preferring to observe mortals from hiding rather than appearing openly; however, she can be lured out with a tale, song, dance, or a beautiful gift. Sometimes she will even help a mortal in distress. She is most favorably disposed towards elves, druids, and rangers. Since she lives there for many generations, Vaelasa can provide a wealth of information about the wood and often know secret places, hide-outs, and entrances long forgotten. She can be warm, affectionate, and playful toward those she trust, but her moods may shift as quickly as the weather. That nymph may become curious by other races: share secrets with them, or invite handsome men into her hidden woodland sanctuary. But she can be mischievous as well, playing harmless tricks to see how they reacs, sometimes deliberately leading travelers astray simply because she finds their confusion amusing. Vaelasa demeanor is graceful and charming, but she can be careless with mortal feelings, sometimes treating serious matters as games because she has difficulty understanding how fragile and temporary mortal lives are. She flees from monsters and beings with evil hearts... but they can always try to catch her! Always will be happy to Roleplay. |
