Lydi'aleera hails from Evermeet on Toril, the second daughter of the noble House Nyntynel, 'House of Preserved Arcane.' Her bloodline has long specialized in the arcane and regularly produces sorcerers of notable power; she is one of them.

Her magical heritage grants her striking beauty and vitality. Courted often in her youth, she declined every proposal, preferring freedom over the constraints of a single partner. She devoted herself instead to refining her sorcery and preserving knowledge, not only of elven magic, but of ancient histories lost to time believing the elven people share a duty to safeguard such lore.

Blessed with the long lifespan of her kind, she spent much of her early life in the comforts of noble society: ballads, poetry, art, and leisure. Only in her second century did the urge to travel take hold.

Leaving Evermeet behind, she set out into the wider world to advance both her house's ambitions and her own knowledge, and to enjoy the journey along the way.
