--General Appearance (Original Form)--

As a male Aster doesn't bear the physical prowess of a seasoned warrior, his life of magic has led to him pursuing the intellectual and magical arts rather then hand-to-hand combat. However he does share a key trait among the avariel, a pair of delicate snow white wings that open to a full length of twelve feet when fully opened. Irregardless of his current form, Aster's wings are very clean and neatly taken care of. This indicates that he spends a good time cleaning and caring for them, implying that he also has a good sense of hygiene.

What he makes up in magic he loses in physical prowess. Aster doesn't bear rippling muscles or thick arms and legs, and while he does possess some very lean muscles he is still a fairly thin elf. He has a lean and toned frame, and stands at around five feet and six inches. Should you get the opportunity to pick the avariel up, you'll find that the male is surprisingly light for his height. This stems from the fact that his bones are hollow, allowing him to easily soar through the sky with his powerful wings. In a way it's easy to tell that the avariel if a user of magic, his lean body is a sign of his lack of knowledge in physical warfare. The man's limbs are lightly muscled, with slightly smaller then average hands and a pair of lean arms and legs.

He has a fairly androgynous face, baring both factors that some would consider a cross between feminine and masculine. However in this form it's more easy to tell that he's a male, though his face in this form is boyish looking due to his relatively young age as an avariel. He can often be seen with a playful chuckle on his face, making him a fairly approachable person. In both forms he shares a similar skin complexion, one that is fair, creamy, and porcelain in color though as a male his skin is rougher to the touch unlike his female form. Another feature that adds to his androgynous appearance is a pair of elegant emerald green eyes that serve to compliment his chestnut brown hair that falls freely around his heart shaped head and partially down his neck.

---General Appearance (Female Form)---

When Aster becomes splashed with cold water he shifts instantly into his female form. As a woman she bares some physical characteristics that are similar to her original form. Her wings are still just as delicate. To the touch they feel like smooth down, and to the eyes they are of a pleasant snow white color. She keeps them clean whenever possible, making sure to remove any dirt or other irritations that may get stuck between her feathers. When her wings are fully expanded they come about to around eleven feet, making them a little bit smaller in comparison to her original form.

As a female Aster's distinct lack of practice in the physical combat comes into light more obviously. She lacks any real visible muscles and possesses a dainty, almost frail build to her appearance. At her full height Aster stands at around five feet and four inches, with an even lighter weight of seventy four pounds. In this form the woman is petite in size, with slender albeit curvaceous lips with an ample sized bust that is appropriate for her height.

When glanced at you can see the same playful and mischievous glance in her emerald green eyes, though there appears to be a bit more caution in them when she is approached by strangers unlike her original form. She still bears the same complexion, one that is porcelain and creamy in color, a trademark of the Avariel race. Her skin is surprisingly and supple to the touch, while she bears a head decorated with long flowing hair that runs freely over her shoulders.

When you ask about his or her past you get a chuckle. Aster isn't much of a person to divest information to strangers, though what is known is that he suffers from a unique curse that has forcibly changes his gender depending on the temperature of the water.

Spellcraft 20 - As your spellcraft increases you notice a distinct school of energy faintly glowing around his back, after studying it you realize it was illusion magic. Going from your logical conclusions you can see it's hiding something though you're not quite sure on it's shape.

Spellcraft 35 - Your great spellcraft allowed you to see a shimmer of wings being enveloped by hollow shades of illusion magic. You can't see the exact color, though it's clear to you that there is an illusion masking Aster's wings.
