Borislav has the features of a rugged, barbaric Rashemi male in his twenties though much taller, due to his mixed heritage.  Dark tanned skin, and chiseled muscular frame, the hard work he put in at the mines shows in his build. His thick square chin is rarely shaven clean, but his long hair is often kept well trimmed and combed when in public viewing and not about a fire with his brethren in the field. Large heavy hands grip his halberd, his bouldering knuckles often split and stretched tight from the cold whipping winds of Icenfar, and howling nights of swordplay shouldering against a brother at arms.  Often upon his body there are large bruises and freshly healed gashes from his bouts in the life of a guardsman.   The techniques he chooses to fight with, if technique at all, are little more than rage filled blood bathes. Though Boris prefers them this way, for coming out of battle unharmed would have hardly been worth the effort to unsheathe his blade.  

Born in Calimport through Rashemen slave stock, though raised in Thay, Borislav was taken from his family and sold into slavery at a very young age.  Seem they know their stock well… for he is a large, brute of a man with an intimidating stare and the strength to back it up.  Borislav… The Fighter for Glory… or so it is said to mean in the Rashemen tongue.  Given a single chance so late in life as a free man, he turns to what he knows, his strength and discipline, and has found employment as a bouncer at THE CLUB in Sinifer.

Borislav was a loyal, broken slave, who served his masters well without complaint or second thought.  The old scars from leather lashings on his cheeks and temples show he may have tested this theory at one time, yet now it remains a distant memory to him.  Though having been given his freedom after his purchase by his late Mistress...
