This small and strange little creature seems to be adorned in various items most wizards would find useful.  He has dark black fur and it is mixed with a slight aqua tinge.  Various runes over his body indicate that this poor little creature was at some point the victum of many different magical rituals.  However dark his past, he always seems cheery and bright eyed, interested in learning, and if at all possible to find a wizard suitable to be his master once again.
