Occupation: Scoundrel / Mentalist / private investigator  

A man in his early 30s. Musclebound and well-groomed,  his body still shows the remnants of a life of turmoil and adventure.
  He is handsome enough with piercing and astute pale eyes, a prominent nose that was broken more than once, and a rare, but gentle smile. His facial hair was rarely anything less than impeccable, only dire circumstances getting in the way of its grooming.
  His hands were those of a boxer.

About him:

    What sets apart a run-of-the-mill brigand from a genuine rogue? Undoubtedly, it has to be the sad dreamy eyes.
  The man was an opportunist and a leecher. A scoundrel with good luck for the misfortune, always falling on his feet with a new trick for his bag.
    While he had read enough books to have some big dreams and a big ego, he could never resist the lure of a damsel in distress or a good bottle of scotch after all the world was nothing but temptations, one after the other.

The Buttler

 After a failed con, Silas washed on the coast of Iracia half death and was taken in by a gentle old lady who believed he was her defunct son.  He adores her. It was also a good chance for him to lay low while his trail cooled off.
  Meanwhile, it was up to Silas to keep the hired help service of the old mother going
