Azla looks not unlike most other catlings having several features of both cats and halflings.  Her little hands have retractable claws and from the knee down her legs are that of a cat, lending her grace and speed of her cat cousions.  Her face is that of a pretty halfling girl save for her bright green eys have vertial pupals and her nose is buttion-like and is a bit darker than the rest of her face.  Her body is lean an toned with just a bit of softness in her tummy and breasts showing her fondness for milk, sweets, and pare meats.  Over her body she is covered with fine fur the color of blond gold, seeming to glimmer in the light, the hair on the top of her head is long and most often tied in little braids and tails with little clips, ribbions and ties she has collected in her travels.  The color of her hair on her head, ears, feet and hands are that of darker gold, like that found in old forgoten crypts and anceint artifacts.  On her back can be found the darkest bart of her pattern giving her a calaco look as it fades out over ther rest of her body.

Azla is not your usual catling, she was given to a man as a kitten after he freed the tribe of breeders whom had raised catlings for their masters for generations.  The man being a known Paladin of Freedom and not one to keep pets much less slaves at first turned the kitten down but after learning she was sure to be killed if no one would take her he agreed and left with only the kitten as a reward.  The knight raised Azla as his ward and daughter as best he could but both his lack of parenting skills and Azla's catling nature soon showed that she was sure to grow up to be a different creature than most likely any other catling.
