He's a large, almost colossal, muscular man with dark hair, a thick, well-groomed beard, and a stern expression. His face is rough, and his intense eyes are often cold and unyielding.

  The man came from nowhere.  He seemingly emerged from obscurity, with no clear background or history and he takes good care to keep it that way.
