Rough around the edges, he had the look of a man who had wasted his looks and spent a good deal of his life either aboard a ship or in a brothel.

He'd clearly got into one too many fights and not always fared so well. He had a brawler's physique; not overly muscular, but lean and defined. His nose had clearly been broken at some point, its slightly crooked appearance giving him a hawkish look.

His body was adorned with various scars and tattoos; a sea drake spiralled up the length of one arm; on his chest was a single playing card, the Jack of Diamonds; and across his back was a tattoo of a large skull with a grey rose between its teeth.
