A veritable treasure trove of puns, Jack is an accomplished lumberjack who looks the part to the point of hairy chest, accidently combed beard and wily hair that often wetly clung to head from strenous physical work. His mere smell was that of unmistakeable man - such trifling matters as bathing happening once in a blue moon. A lover of stout beer, brotherly camaraderie and physical challenges he was often the centerpiece when it came to friendly competition and just hanging out with friends.

Spurred by those friends, Jack finally took the leap of faith and ventured into the big city - his eyes would often wander on women until a shroud of sadness drew the gaze away. Whatever had happened in past weighted more heavily on the wide shoulders than anything he had carried - yet there was reconciliation in the grey eyes, perhaps even a smile every now and then. Life with all of its marvels went on and it ~was~ worth living.
