Colcu MacInnerny had been on the road to become a holy knight.  At least that's what was planned by the family.  To serve Syreth as a paladin.  Then came the attack that wiped out both his family, and the church where he had been studying. Young...and perhaps a bit foolish, Colcu blamed his own goddess for turning on his people. And thus turned away from the clergy entirely. He found himself adrift...without purpose.

That's when he turned to the pirates on the Dread Isle, working as a mercenary for their slave trade.

Since that time, he has had a change of heart.  Multiple experiences on Dread have caused him to re-evaluate his path in life.  Once again he is without a rudder, but at least he has a clean conscience.

He has since joined the Crusaders of Blackthorn, hoping that he might be able to get back on the path that had been denied him when he was young.
