A slight miscalculation led to a very sentient real intelligence with thinking capabilities and emotion. What started out as a tool for his own deviant desires became the centuries technilogical breakthrough. His vast winning in gold brought so many seeking his friendship, and more gave him no further use for his creation, which led to it leaving of it's own accord, seeking a new life elsewhere.
