The curse of the Pharaohs can be so deadly/ Notes on play: Soh Reh hails from Kemet, on an Earth much like ours, but filled with supernatural entities. As a Genius Loci under Anubis/Anput, she enjoyed the Nile empires' rise and fall, right up to the Roman occupation. There, she and any like her were eventually sealed into tombs to keep the Pharaohs safe from the growing monotheistic menace. After killing Lord Carnarvon,  she seems to have adjusted perfectly fine to modern times, with some caveats. Nature is as nature does and as a tomb guardian, certain types of contact with her inevitably lead to death. Helping Nile write their music in her function as a muse was not one of them. Certain type of sex do 100% of the time. Unless a character is already (un)dead, they will simply expire at the end of, or during, the scene. Death ward will protect against this, but it will also cause her to vacate someone's proximity. The ward, to her, simply does not "feel good". Sneaking it in is not possible. It would be as if you did not notice someone poured hot tar across your face. There are ways to avoid this through roleplay, but Soh cannot outright state what they are. She can only describe things and drop hints. Ritual death is usually a bloodless affair (your character's heart will simply stop; or their brain shut off entirely), unless snuff is something you enjoy, in which case Soh will indulge herself with a bit of more pro-active killing. Mostly, however, she sees it as a transaction. Your character is getting something valuable (her seed) and is paying in the traditional manner (their life). Still, she's a realist and pragmatist. She won't begrudge a resurrection, but she is not allowed to bring your character back on her own, or facilitate such actively. If present, she must actively prevent it. Beyond that, Soh and her player have no actual reds. She is intended primarily for consensual play as a dominant. She will not force herself upon a character, since it defeats the whole nature of harvesting worship via intercourse.
